Account Deletion
Last updated: June 30, 2026
This page explains how to delete your arc habit (the "App") account and associated data, and what information is removed.
Deleting Your Account in the App
You can delete your account yourself from within the App.
- Open the App.
- Open "Settings".
- Open "Account".
- Select "Delete account".
- Follow the prompts on the confirmation screens to complete deletion.
Once you confirm, your account and all data associated with it are deleted. This action cannot be undone, and deleted data cannot be recovered.
Data That Is Deleted
When you delete your account, the following data is removed from our servers.
- Account information (your user account in Firebase Authentication).
- Recorded habits and activity logs.
- In-app settings and other user data.
When the account is deleted, the user's data stored on the server (all information under users/<user ID>) is automatically deleted as well.
Data Retention
After you request deletion, the server-side deletion process runs promptly and your data is normally fully removed shortly thereafter. Data may remain briefly in system backups, but it is also erased according to our standard operations. Where retention of certain information is required by law, we retain it only to the extent and for the period required.
Requesting Deletion When You Cannot Use the App
If you have already uninstalled the App, or cannot sign in to perform the deletion from within the App, you can request deletion using the contact form below. We may ask for the sign-in method used at registration or other account-related information to verify your identity.
